Toronto Cathay Lions Club together with Toronto Paragon Lions Club organized a Fundraising Dinner for China Earthquake Relief at Star Walk Buffet Restaurant. About 800 guests attended the event. More than $44,000 was raised. The cheque for this amount was presented to Canadian Red Cross to be sent to China. Please see the photo and newspaper clipping from Sing Tao Daily on June 16, 2010. |
