30th Inaugeration Ball
August 14, 2004

The Toronto Cathay Lions Club will be celebrating its 30th year of serving the Community and has scheduled its annual Inauguration Charity Ball on Saturday, August 14, 2004 at the Hilton Suite Hotel on Warden at Highway 7. Major recipient of net proceeds from this event will be the Kensington Gardens. We have committed to donate $20,000 to Kensington Gardens. An estimated 500 prominent guests form the business and professional sectors and politicians will be attending this function and this event will be widely covered by the media.

Kensington Gardens is one of the finest long term care facilities in the country. It is committed to improving the health of its community by working with clients and other providers to deliver culturally appropriate, primary health care and related social service programs for people of all ages, and a continuum of long-term care and complementary program for seniors. The Kensington Gardens is a fully multi-cultural facility that has the resources to provide long term care across cultural and linguistic boundaries, where all cultures are at home.
